Craig Campana has a 26 year career in Commercial Television Production, Advertising, Book Publishing, Referral Consulting and Appreciation Marketing.
He started the first BNI chapter in Wisconsin in 1995 to build his Video production company, after being downsized from a Milwaukee publishing company. Since that time he has opened 123 chapters statewide and received 26 awards from BNI Headquarters for creative innovation and regional growth. In 2000, Craig was a finalist for BNI US Director of the Year.
Craig is a published contributing author to the books Masters of Networking and Confessions of Shameless Self Promoters, and has contributed to the books Seven-Second Marketing, Business by Referral, World’s Best Known Marketing Secret 2nd Edition, Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul, and The Entrepreneurial Parent.
Currently, Craig concentrates on developing the BNI franchise region throughout Northern Wisconsin and together with his wife Linda markets an online greeting card system for personal and business follow-up called SendOutCards. See www.SendOutCards.com/shamrockgreetings
Craig resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with his wife of 22 years (Linda), and sons Corey (16) and Timothy (13).
His hobbies include: Besides spending time with his family, he enjoys nature photography, listening to jazz music and motivational audio resources, singing in his church choir, and sending out motivational greeting cards daily.
Professional Interests: Craig and Linda are active volunteers for United Cerebral Palsy for West Central Wisconsin, where Craig is a Board member and Secretary/Treasurer. Craig is also a member of the BNI Foundation Fund Development Committee, an International Networking Week Steering Committee member, an Eau Claire and Minocqua Chambers of Commerce member, and a member of the American Association of Micro-Business
Something no one knows about him: Craig has two outstanding success achieved through networking: 1. He was able to secure a video project in Milwaukee/Chicago under the direction of Steven Spielberg 2. He and his wife Linda adopted their first child through networking (see their story on page 72 of the book Masters of Networking) 3. He is working on a resource book (titled Turning Career Adversity into Power for Success) to help those who are faced with an unexpected job transition.
